Psychological Teachings on Objectification
Psychology teaches us there are 7 principles that a person can exercise to objectify another human. I find this fascinating, and I wanted to share it.

The 7, with respective descriptions, are:
𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Treating a person as a tool or object for one's own purposes, rather than a human being with intrinsic worth.
𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲: Denying a person their free will, self-determination, and the ability to act independently.
𝐈𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: Characterizing a person as inactive, lacking agency, or unable to act and respond on their own.
𝐅𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Treating a person as interchangeable with others, like a generic unit that can be easily replaced.
𝐕𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: Regarding a person as something that can be damaged, broken, or used up, without concern for their well-being.
𝐎𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩: Viewing a person as one's property or something that can be bought, sold, and controlled.
𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲: Refusing to acknowledge a person's feelings, experiences, thoughts, and inner life.

𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘦: I think some are more commonly seen, such as Ownership often taking centre-stage in objectifying D/s dynamics, whilst others like Instrumentality or Denial of Subjectivity are less commonly announced, at least in my experience. Personally, I get an intense rush from increasing any of the 7 within my dynamics; I adore the rush of exploring and finding my boundaries within these. However, I find some are easier/quicker to set up in a dynamic (e.g. Denial of Autonomy) whilst others may require a higher time investment to develop (e.g. Violability). Does this raise the 'reward' for the actions that take longer to develop? I can't decide on an answer...

𝘐'𝘮 𝘊𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳: For Dommes, how many of these 7 do you exercise when objectifying your submissive/s? Why? And for subs, how many of these do you enjoy being placed under? Also, why?
