| I read this book a couple of years ago, in the midst of great personal turbulence and sexual winter. And it became a catalyst for a new awakening in me, the discovery of a kink I didn't know I had. The setup is simple but effective: a woman signs up for a kink retreat, hoping to escape her life and maybe get in touch with some buried part of herself. What she finds is so much more. She meets a man, and what unfolds between them is raw, intense, and deeply validating if you’ve ever craved that hunted/claimed dynamic.
