ENGLISHPeerRope RingönOrganizer: PollyPerhapsWelcome to PeerRope on weekdays.
PeerRope Ringön takes place on various weekday evenings every three weeks.
What is PeerRope?
A safe meeting place for people who enjoy shibari. Together we explore rope and share our best tips and tricks with each other. Practice on the rope mat or chat about it in our café with like-minded people. No prior knowledge is required; beginners are just as welcome as seasoned rope enthusiasts.
There is a host for the evening, but no predetermined teachers. We all help co-create a safe and inclusive space for everyone who likes to tie.
Practical information
• Entry: 18:00 - 18:25 Please arrive on time, as we close the door and start at 18:30.
• Bring your own ropes, safety shears, and anything else you might want to use when tying. Ropes are also available to borrow, and sometimes to purchase in our shop.
• You are welcome to photograph your own tying, but ensure that everyone in the photo has given their consent to both the photography itself and any potential publication.
• Semi-suspensions are permitted if you have previous experience. Speak with the crew before doing it for the first time with us. Bring your own ring and sling. We also have bamboo if you prefer that.
• The café is open and offers hot and cold drinks, pastries, and snacks.
Rules
• We share the space with respect for one another and refrain from full sessions and loud practices.
• Minimum attire is underwear and a tank top.
• No open drink containers are allowed in the rope room.
• Before touching another person's body or belongings, we ask for permission. Make sure to ask politely and kindly if you want to tie with someone or get advice on good solutions, and accept a potential no without discussion. Nobody is obligated to do anything, and tying or being tied is not a right.
• Negotiation takes place before we tie. We use stop words: red = stop and return to a neutral position, yellow = pause and communicate, green = all good/give me more. Inform each other during negotiation if you are unfamiliar with using stop words.
• During all events organized by WCK, RACK - Risk Awareness Consensual Kink applies. If you are new to rope, feel free to check out this link: https://shibaristudy.com/programs/safety-course
