Deepen skills in binding and being bound over 6 classes! Have you taken one of our beginner- or continuation courses and want to keep deepening your skills? Are you curious about understanding what it means to go deeper into learning, and moving towards using suspension lines in your play, inviting gravity to be one of your play partners? Are you interested in learning more about who you are and what it means for you to be bound and to bind? Under the experienced guidance of RedLily and Ziggi you will immerse yourself in the connective craft of rope. Our goal is to build a community of joyful, hungry learners to evolve confidence, playfulness and practical knowledge - from the beginning and onward! If you want to take the classes but you don't know who to go with, dm Ziggi or make a post on this event and we will try to assist in match-making! When One Thursday every month, from September to February (6 classes total) 19.00-21.00 Dates: 17 september 15 october 19 november 17 december 14 january 18 february Who is this journey for? People who have previously learned with us in one of our courses, or who have learned elsewhere and feel they have a good grasp of the basics. If you are not sure - please send a DM to me (ziggi) and we can figure out if this course is right for you :) This class is for queer people and their allies In the classes you will work in pairs of 2. Therefore we want that you sign up together with someone that you want to bind with during the classes. As always, switching within and between pairs during the course is welcome! ”Why should someone being tied pay to take a class??” Sometimes we hear that people think being bound is not a skill. That the person being bound is “just there” and has nothing to learn. This is about as silly as thinking that the person following in a tango does not need to go to class, because they “just” follow. We are passionate about training people in the skills of being bound, and participants of our classes will learn, amongst other things: body awareness, rope safety, effective adjustments for their bodies, communication skills, how to *be* in rope, dealing with interesting and not-interesting pain. Teachers RedLily - 15 years+ of experience teaching rope, glowing reviews from all over the world, this Copenhagen-based shibari teacher and intimacy expert is pretty much guaranteed to get your rope game levelled up.
