Copenhagen Queer Knots Festival 2026 Slow Down to Go Deeper
This year, Copenhagen Queer Knots invites you to descend beneath the surface into depth, intention, and connection. With more days, more space, and more time to explore, the Summer Edition expands into a 4-day immersive journey dedicated to queer shibari, community, and collective research.
Get ready for an experience that asks you to slow down, root yourself, and go deeper into rope, into practice, and into yourself, into each other.
A festival made by queers, for queers and their allies, created as a container for learning, experimentation, vulnerability, and pleasure. What to Expect 📚 18+ Hours of Classes, Workshops & Round Tables
Two fully equipped spaces allow us to go both wide and deep:
One room dedicated to beginner & intermediate exploration
One room focused on advanced practice and research
Learn new skills, challenge assumptions, and engage in thoughtful discussions with fellow rope lovers.
🪢 Rope Jams Open practice spaces for freeform tying, collaboration, and playful exploration. Drop in, follow your curiosity, and connect through rope.
🌟 6 Performances Be moved by powerful shibari performances from some of the most exciting and forward-thinking queer artists on the European scene — spanning different styles, energies, and intensities.
