To carry your body with grace. Move your fingers with finess. And heart to care for the balance of your own pleasure and the others. This weekend will give you a fantastic introduction to Shibari, the art of tying and being tied. Welcome to a safely guided exploration of polarity, of creative intimacy and of tuning in deeply to our bodies through softness and power. Sensual Shibari is a special form of Shibari, inspired by Japanese and western rope bondage, however tantric teachings, sensuality and embodiment holds the deeper layers. Molly Maria, with her 10 years expertise of ropes and 4 years of teaching, guides you through a journey of presence and sensual confidence, as well as joyfully being a beginner. The class is for beginners, who have tied a little before, or have no earlier experience. You can both sign up alone or come with a friend or partner. We will rotate partners during the event (gender will not be taken into consideration) to practice and play with many different people to enhance our learning experience and the group connection. * CONTENT: Presence 🌹 Embodiment 🌹 Ropes The teachings have their roots in exploring intimate connections, where the ropes become a mere tool in order to practice (or come back to) something fundamental, our senses and our sensual confidence. To meet through sensuality requires a deep presence. This state of presence is what we will curiously and playfully approach through the ropes during this course. In order to study the ropes as your new tool for play, we will take turns between focusing on connection and technique. To allow for a curious beginners mind as well as a deep experience. You will learn: ✨ The art of holding and being held through simple, beautiful rope techniques ✨ Structure and flow, from known patterns to playful improvisation ✨ Awakening your sensuality through the art of surrender ✨ Move with embodied confidence, gently reclaiming your pleasure and your presence ✨ Discover the roles of polarity, the power in softness, and the strength in surrender ✨ Building trust, safety, and communication in intimacy ✨ Deepen into themes like tempo, atmosphere, tenderness and intuitive touch, to let your body lead the way No previous experience is needed, just a longing to expand your tool box for sensual play! My work guides individuals and groups on transformative journeys of embodiment and self realisation. The creative and the therapeutic are weaved together in my work. I have been tying since 2016, practicing both traditional Shibari and finding my own approach. My way of tying is inspired by contact improvisation dance, massage, meditation, bdsm and tantra. There is a stong focus on playful embodiment and pleasure, focusing on presence, sensuality and the deep contact between people, where the rope becomes a tool and a framework to experience one self and others.
