The Motherhole hosts this gathering. It has three realms: Eros, Mother and Crone. This is a Crone gathering. Crone is not age. It is not invisibility. It is not decline. Crone is the moment you stop negotiating your existence. When your body is no longer a passage for life into this world. Crone is ownership. Theme of the gathering There comes a point when something in you closes. Not from bitterness. Not from trauma. From clarity. You no longer want to be endlessly reachable. Emotionally accommodating. Sexually adaptable. Relationally diplomatic. You no longer want to explain your boundaries in a tone that makes others comfortable. You are done being accessible by default. And that can feel lonely. This gathering is for women who feel themselves withdrawing from roles, expectations, and dynamics that once defined them. Not collapsing. Withdrawing. Choosing. We are not here to become softer. We are here to examine what you are no longer willing to give. What we will do This is a structured, guided gathering. The focus is articulation. We create a contained space where you can examine what you have quietly stepped away from, and what that means. You will write in response to precise prompts. You will reflect before speaking. You may share, or not. You do not need to justify your distance. You do not need to defend your detachment. You do not need to present it as healing. We look at withdrawal without pathologising it. No fixing. No advice. No spiritual reframing. Just women speaking from inside their own authority. The focus of the evening We explore aspects of Crone that are rarely spoken about directly: • the relief of not being desired • the decision to stop accommodating • the grief of stepping out of certain roles • the loneliness of becoming self-contained • the power of emotional non-compliance • the fear of becoming irrelevant • the freedom of no longer performing warmth This is not about reinvention. It is about subtraction. Many women feel themselves becoming sharper, quieter, less available. This gathering offers a way to name that shift without apology. The Motherhole The Motherhole. Not because one method fits all, but because experience needs holding in order to move. We work with words, bodies, breath, and sound. Sometimes with silence. Sometimes with meditation. Sometimes through writing. Sometimes through reading and voicing. Sometimes through movement or stillness. Not everything happens every time. But always a shared speaking at the end.
