Welcome to an afternoon of rope practice where we explore presence and connection through rope. You will learn how to tie or be tied in a way that makes you both feel safe. We will also explore how to deepen your experience of shibari, both in the role of rigger and model. We will practice setting boundaries and negotiating consent. This workshop is beginner-friendly, but also suitable for people who have more experience with shibari. ⏰ Friday 23 January 17:30–20:30. 📍 Malmö, Ungdomens Hus, Room 19. Directions: Enter on 21 Torpgatan, take the first door on the left and then go to the top floor. 🧶 Bring your own ropes if you have them. There will also be some available to borrow. ☕ Fika included. Please write any dietary restrictions in the application. 👥 Max 12 participants. 💸 Price: 500 SEK per person. For 600 SEK, the next day’s Shibari Jam is included. Swish to 0723414963 and write “shibari”. Are pictures allowed? Pictures are not allowed at all during the workshop. Do I need to come with a partner? Come alone, with a partner or a group of friends. Ask in the discussion below if you want to match up with someone before. During the workshop, you will be encouraged to rotate partners, but of course you can also choose to only tie with the person you came with. ABOUT THE SPACE HOLDERS Hi, I’m Wilma! My mission is to destigmatize sensuality, sexuality, and self-love. I strive to create safe, non-judgmental spaces where people can fully be themselves, embrace their desires, and feel empowered in their bodies. My journey into Shibari opened powerful doors of self-discovery. Through ropes, I’ve learned to explore boundaries, build trust, and deepen connection—with myself and others. It’s become a beautiful practice of communication, surrender, and empowerment. I’ve shared this passion through Rope Bondage workshops across India, Thailand, Germany, and Sweden, and by creating women’s circles and hosting ecstatic dance sessions that celebrate community and self-expression. CollarboneJohn - I am a rope switch with an interest in challenging and dynamic ties, for example semenawa, various predicaments, and body manipulation.
