Needle Play: playing with suturing skin and drawing blood Welcome to a hands-on workshop/skillshare where you can learn about and practice blood drawing and suturing the skin! There will be inspiration and information shared about how and why to play with blood and needles this way, points for safety and techniques to start practicing We will talk about types of needles and thread, and what to use for drawing blood. There will be inspiration shared on how to use the blood afterwards and where on the body to put stitches (for pain, restriction, decoration etc.). During the practical part you can try on a partner, fruits or yourself. In the fee there’s some equipment for both blooddrawing and suturing included. But if you have access to some, you are very welcome to bring it Make sure you have had lunch in advance. We will provide some light snacks –mainly chocolate and fruit. This skillshare is geared towards all experience levels and all positions. The workshop will be held in English. Queers only. A trained nurse with a love for needles and bloodplay. The Basement Lab The Basement Lab is a series of workshops and skillshares that bring people together in a relaxed setting. This series aims to expand and deepen your skills in both the practical and the psychological aspects of BDSM. This is purely for the queer bdsm and leather community. Queer here means aligned with the queer community and either not cis-gender, or not straight. About the Organizer The Basement Lab is a concept dreamed up and organized by Synchro. Synchro has been an active part of the queer bdsm community for 10+ years. They have organized a range of events, from queer porn screenings to munches, workshops and play parties.
