Let’s take the next steps on your path of learning to bind and be bound! Caught by the ropes and want to get more entangled? Over 8 classes we will deepen our technical and creative skills by practicing patterns for different situations, body handling, communication and aesthetics. Under the experienced guidance of RedLily and Ziggi you will immerse yourself in the connective craft of rope. Our goal is to build a community of joyful, hungry learners to evolve confidence, playfulness and practical knowledge - from the beginning and onward! When Thursdays on UNEVEN weeks 19.00-21.00 Starting August 28th (So the class will run every other week from August into December) Who is this journey for? People who have a bit of experience tying/being tied and want to further expand their skills. Maybe you have taken a beginner course, been to some workshops, or learned with online classes or from friends. Maybe you are more advanced in some aspects, but have never been to a continuous course with teachers. Basically - you’ve been caught by the ropes, and need to move deeper! Technically for the persons tying it means having confident single- and double column ties, having tied on another person multiple times and have done some following of patterns instructed by another person (or video/photo). For the persons being tied it means having been tied by another person multiple times, having started to understand what happens to you when you are tied, and beginning to explore what you like/dislike/what works/does not work for you when being tied. If you are unsure if you fit for the class, please reach out and we are happy to figure out what class is most suitable for you! This class is for queer people and their allies In the classes you will work in pairs of 2. Therefore we want that you sign up together with someone that you want to bind with during the classes. As always, switching within and between pairs during the course is welcome! ”Why should someone being tied pay to take a class??” It seems that people sometimes think that being bound is not a skill. That the person being bound is “just there” and has nothing to learn. This is about as silly as thinking that the person following in a tango does not need to go to class, because they “just” follow. We are passionate about training people in the skills of being bound, and participants of our classes will learn, amongst other things: body awareness, rope safety, effective adjustments for their bodies, communication skills, how to *be* in rope, dealing with interesting and not-interesting pain. Address will be given when your ticket is confirmed. Language Class will be taught in spoken English. Price 3000 sek per person For people of low income, we have 2 tickets available at a reduced price of 2350 sek each. Please state in your email if you are interested in a reduced-price ticket.
